Other projects

The Environment Centre provides an educational resource for environmental issues of local, national and international significance. The centre aims to be a community focal point for environmental awareness and provides meeting facilities for local environmental groups to utilise.
 

A community library of environmental resources is available and provides easy public access to a wide range of resources produced by local, regional and central government organisations as well as non-governmental organisations.

Publications held include books, magazines, reports, Council plans, miscellaneous articles, videos and newspaper clippings.
