This bus tour will visit four homes around Tauranga, with introductions and tours by the people who live in them, discussing sustainability features they have in their homes, and their future household sustainability plans.

Educational Harbour Cruise

Cruise the harbour and experience how it is managed. Speakers from Ngaiterangi and Environment BOP will talk about cultural values, harbour uses and impacts and how conflicits and solutions are being managed. Sponsored by Environment Bay of Plenty.

Funky Junk Art Competition/Exhibition

Create an art piece from re-used materials, turn trash into treasure!  Cash prizes for Creativity, People’s choice, Environmental Art and Children's categories. Environmental Art will need to be created from natural materials. Bring your own or find things in the Quarry Park (sticks, fern fronds, toe toe, stones, leaves and your imagination). Music, art and family fun!

Seaweek Sea Bird Cruise (Saturday 13 March - 10am) Wildlife enthusiasts have a chance to cruise off the Bay of Plenty coastline to observe oceanic seabirds, and other wildlife including dolphins on a 18 m catamaran, the South Sea Vagabond. Includes a special commentary provided by local seabird expert Tony Crocker.
