Rudolf Steiner School Wetland
The Urban Greenspace Project has been working with the Tauranga Rudolf Steiner School to restore the wetland on the schools property. Funding for the project was provided by BOC Gas's "Where There's Water" community environmental grants. The excavation of the wetland was done by Fulton Hogan who donated the services of a long reach digger for the day.
With help from Kuaka New Zealand the school has been able to remove many of the invasive weeds and have planted well over 1000 plants.
